The Fleming Building is a Historic Building in downtown Des Moines Iowa. This 11 story property, designed by architect Daniel Burnham and built in 1909.

This is the east side of the Fleming Building in Downtown Des Moines, Iowa. It is over one hundred years old and still is a great architectural asset to Des Moines.

This is the first resting place of the 500 pound beams at the Fleming Building. We are at the street level, and the first step is to get the beams inside which is two stories down and underground.
