We sent System Design Specialist Jordan Mullen to inspect the basement and determine what was causing the water problems as well as suggest custom solutions for her basement. Jordan found that water was coming through the south wall of the home and leaking through the concrete blocks, which formed puddles of water along the perimeter of the basement. He also noticed that the water had weakened the wall structure, causing stage 2 wall failure. The homeowner was quite concerned about these issues and for the safety of her home, so she discussed solutions custom to her home with Jordan.

We sent an installation team out to install Geo-Lock Anchors on the south wall of the home and PowerBraces on the west wall of the home. These solutions help to stabilize the walls and move them back to their original positions over time. After fixing the wall troubles, our team started to work on waterproofing the walls to prevent any further damage. Our team used the WaterGuard Interior Drainage System and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier along the south and east walls of the home. Finally, our team installed a new Sump Pump in order to keep water pumping out of the basement.

In Kearney, MO, a homeowner was tired of his driveway settling because it caused a huge bump that was rough on his car's tires. The driveway was also causing a tripping hazard when someone would try to use the front entrance walkway, so the homeowner decided to give us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Jimmy Hungerford to inspect the tripping hazard and determine what damage it had caused as well as how to fix these issues. Jimmy say the tripping hazard and the problematic concrete slab and immediately took a look at the foundation to ensure that the home was stable. After that inspection, Jimmy explained to the homeowner that the concrete was pushing into the foundation wall of the basement, meaning that the longer the uneven concrete existed, the more likely it would caused the foundation wall to cave in. The homeowner was upset by this news, and knew that he wanted to fix his concrete immediately. We had our team start to fix this homeowner's concrete quickly by utilizing PolyLevel Foam and NexusPro Sealant to lift, level, and seal the concrete back to a height in which the foundation walls were not at risk.

A homeowner in Lesterville, MO called us out because his cellar had problems with water intrusion for several years. We sent System Design Specialist Nick Tiberghien to inspect the cellar and determine how to best prevent water from flooding it. Upon inspection, Nick found that the water intrusion was due to cracks in the walls and floor as well as the one path downhill to enter and exit the cellar. Cellars are easily flooded as they are fairly exposed to the elements more so than a basement and their single entrances usually lead downhill, providing an easy path for water to flow through. Nick talked to the homeowner about this problem and told the homeowner of our interior waterproofing solutions that could help prevent water from pooling once it entered the cellar. The homeowner was grateful that we proposed solutions and wanted to help him, so after his approval, our team got to work on installing waterproofing solutions. Our installation team utilized a full perimeter WaterGuard Drainage System with a Lateral Line to address all water that was coming through the cold joints and cracks. After this, the team worked to install CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to prevent water from coming through the wall cracks, as well as to help minimize the amount of moisture coming through the walls and reduce the relative humidity of the cellar. Finally, our team installed an Ultra Sump Pump with a buried discharge pipe to redirect all water coming into the cellar back outside.
