We sent System Design Specialist, Tom Studer out to Jian’s home. Upon inspection of the driveway, Tom identified that the settling was occurring due to poor fill soil and the weight of the previous mudjacking. The crew was able to raise the driveway slab with PolyLevel. Then used NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks to prevent further water penetration. Then we also buried a few of the downspouts to direct the water away from the driveway. Jian was completely impressed with the crew’s professionalism and the final look of the driveway

The crew encapsulated the space with CleanSpace and sealed up all the seams and tops to make sure the space was useable, and nothing could get in the crawl space again. After inspecting the walls, he was able to identify that the basement wall was in stage one wall failure with deflection and diagonal cracking on the poured foundation. The crew installed PowerBraces around the full perimeter of the basement to support the whole wall. Ralph was very pleased with the outcome of the project and glad to know that is home is properly supported.

Homeowner Connie T. noticed that her front step had dropped and had become a trip hazard. Concerned that this would become a big hazard and impact other areas of the concrete, she wanted to find a long-term solution that would last. System Design Specialist Todd King went out to Connie’s home. He was able to identify that the front step done dropped a significant level and recommended using PolyLevel to fix the steps. The crew injected the concrete with PolyLevel raising the step back up the original height. Connie was extremely pleased that the step was no longer a trip hazard.

Homeowner Ed S. was growing concerned about his concrete. He has been noticing that the stoop is settling and sinking away from his home. Looking for concrete raising solutions, he gave Thrasher a call.

Service Technician Andrew Davis went out to Ed’s home. He was able to identify that to stop the concrete from settling and moving away from the home, the cracks needed to be closed. We started with lifting the settled concrete with PolyLevel, bringing it back up to the original level. Then to close the joints and cracks, we applied NexusPro Joint Sealant. Ed was happy to know the concrete was taken care of and pleased with the quality of work from the crew.
