Jill N. is a proud homeowner in Omaha, NE and wants more protection from water damage in her basement. Seeking out a permanent waterproofing solution, she reached out to Thrasher because of our reputation, and the all the good things she’s heard from those around her.

 The project began with System Design Specialist Austin Sharon visiting the Omaha home to investigate possible solutions. Jill opted to have Thrasher install our WaterGuard waterproofing system around the entire interior of the foundation walls. WaterGuard is an innovating drainage system that is designed to solve water problems without clogging from the soils underneath. It’s a permanent solution that’s guaranteed to keep the basement dry year-round.

 Jill was thrilled with the results from the project and the effectiveness of the WaterGuard solution. Jill can have peace of mind moving forward knowing her basement is protected, and the value of her home is restored.

Longtime homeowners Greg and Karen T replaced their driveway and were looking for a proactive way to protect their driveway and keep it in the best shape possible with low maintenance. They have had previous projects completed by Thrasher and they trusted us to come out to their home.

Service Technician Austin Sharon went out to Greg and Karen’s home. After evaluation of their driveway Austin told them about our three-part concrete protection system. Greg and Karen were thrilled with the results and how well their driveway looked after everything was completed.

Steve B. is a homeowner in Pocahontas, IA and decided he wanted to finish his basement. However, he has been dealing with water in his basement for several years and needed to have it taken care of first. Steve was very familiar with our reputation and knew that we have a warranty in place that we stand behind.  To begin the project, System Design Specialist Zak Kephart arrived in Pocahontas, IA to perform a thorough inspection of the water damage. It was determined the water was coming in through the cold joints every time it rained, but only in a few areas. To fix the problem, our team installed WaterGuard around the perimeter for drainage and CleanSpace to capture any water seeping through the walls. These two products combined provide a permanent waterproofing solution.

 Steve was more than pleased with the quality and efficiency of the work the crew did. He can now remodel his basement with confidence it’s built for the test of time.

Robert B. started to notice that the floors in the crawl space were sagging, and that doors and windows were not closing properly. Not wanting the problem to get worse, he decided to seek out a solution right away. After having Thrasher Foundation Repair come out to do other work, he felt comfortable in having us come back out.

We sent Service Technician Michael Holtz out to Robert’s home. Robert had already braced the crawl space but was ready to finish the job. The crew installed SmartJacks to support the crawl space and the sagging floors. Then also insulated the crawl space with SilverGlo helping the space become energy efficient. Robert was happy that we were able to create a permanent solution.

Kara A. is the landlord of her rental property in Hutchinson, KS and was worried about the structural damage water was having on the walls. In addition, she was worried about mold growth due to the moisture and wanted the new tenant to be able to utilize the whole home. After scheduling an appointment, she loved the detailed explanation we were able to provide.

 System Design Specialist Sean Robinson fully inspected the home, and Kara opted to have our team install our full basement waterproofing system. The team began by waterproofing the full perimeter and connecting a lateral line to waterproof the floor. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was then installed to prevent moisture and mold growth. Lastly, PowerBraces were installed on three separate walls to permanently stabilize the foundation from moving inward, and can be tightened over time to return the walls to their vertical position.

 Kara was thrilled with the team’s efficiency and dedication to quality. Our solutions transformed the basement into a livable space both structurally and aesthetically.
