Basement Waterproofing & Drainage Before & After Photos

This homeowner recently faced a leaky basement wall in her house. Water seepage through the walls was causing damage and making her worried. We encapsulated this homeowner's crawl space with CleanSpace, a vapor barrier, to help the home become more energy efficient and add usable storage space. This customer was getting water in his basement and wanted to protect his home's resale value. When we inspected, we found that hydrostatic pressure had been putting a lot of pressure on his foundation walls for years. So much so that water started leaking through the wall mortar joints and started to pool up on the floor. 

To fix this issue, we installed a full perimeter drainage system and installed a sump pump system for the water to be channeled to and directed away from the home. 

This customer needed to make sure that the water being soaked up by his sump pump was being carried far enough away so that it wouldn't drain the water right back into the foundation wall soil. We were able to extend the discharge pipe far enough from the foundation and ensure the water would not affect the home's integrity.
