We sent System Design Specialist Josh Krestine to inspect the foundation walls and determine what solutions would be best for his problem. Josh found that due to the lack of gutters on the home, water had been stacking up against the foundation walls, causing it to belly in. After explaining this to the homeowner, the homeowner decided to fix his foundation walls first before proceeding with any prevention solutions. We sent an installation team to install PowerBraces which work to enforce the wall and straighten the wall back to normal over time.

This homeowner wanted to get his house fixed up before his daughter came to visit him. He knew that his floors had been settling in the middle for some years, however he hasn't wanted to pay much attention to this problem until the present. Kevin took a look in the crawlspace and saw that there was no climate control system in the crawlspace which had allowed the supports to sink down and not hold up the floor anymore. After showing this to the homeowner and reassuring that this problem can be fixed, the homeowner was relieved that someone had finally given him a solution. Our team went out to the home and installed SmartJacks and a supplemental support beam to lift the floors closer to being flat. These products helped to strengthen and stabilize the floor so that the home was more secure.

Rob found that the fireplace was pulling away from the house, creating a gap between the outside wall and the chimney. He also saw that the garage was sinking because of weak fill soil that could not hold the weight of these structures. After thoroughly understanding the problem, Rob talked to the homeowners about options to solve this, and they loved how he described the options, so they decided to move forward with us. We sent System Design Specialist Daryn Britton to inspect the retaining wall and determine how we could best fix it. Daryn found that the retaining wall was deflecting 4 inches and there was a large crack that was making this possible. Knowing just how to help, our team installed Geolocks to stabilize the wall and straighten it over time. The crack in the wall is not gone, however the retaining wall is once again stable and will no continue to deflect.
