40 Year Old Driveway Repair - Kansas City, MO
These homeowners had a concrete driveway that was over 40 years old. They thought they only solution would be to replaced, but knew it may be expensive. It was becoming an eyesore and a tripping hazard and did not know who to call, so they called Thrasher. They knew we only do repairs, and wanted to see if we could save their concrete. One of our System Design Specialists, Thomas Graff, came out to meet with them. Thomas agreed it was in bad shape, but excited to share how we could save their driveway without replacement. Thomas proposed we use PolyLevel to lift and level the areas that were sinking, and NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks. Thrasher was able to get out fast, and the homeowners loved how we were able to make the concrete like new without replacement. There is no doubt that these homeowners come home everyday without worries of their older driveway anymore!
Driveway Leveling in Republic, MO
This homeowner was struggling with water pooling on his concrete. His concrete was sinking, cracking, and causing a tripping hazard, so he knew that he wanted to get this problem fixed right away, so he gave us a call. We sent System Design Specialist Justice Haven to inspect the homeowner's concrete and determine what was causing the concrete to have so many problems as well as suggest solutions to fix these problems. Justice found that water was getting into the cracks and joints of the concrete, washing out the soil underneath the slab and causing the concrete to settle. He also pointed out that the water that was pooling on his concrete was making the problem worse. After discussing options to fix this with the homeowner, Justice called to set up an installation appointment for the homeowner quickly. One of our installation teams came out to the home and utilized PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealant to lift, level, and seal the concrete driveway. This concrete driveway had a giant crack and was extremely unlevel! This can damage your car and can even be dangerous for you! This sidewalk in Lincoln, NE was unlevel and had wide joints, creating a dangerous situation. Using PolyLevel, we created a safer sidewalk by lifting and leveling the concrete slabs. The joints were also sealed with NexusPro.
Driveway and Front Walkway Repair in Centennial, CO
This homeowner wanted to fix the dip they around the entrance of their garage as well as the dipping front walkway. He was worried that the rest of his concrete would eventually face the same fate of settling, do he knew that he needed to act sooner rather than later. When he found the detailed process of concrete repair to be too much to do on his own, he decided to give us a call to see how we could help lift his concrete burden.
We sent System Design Specialist Jeremy Sund to inspect the homeowner's driveway and front walkway, diagnose the issues facing these, then design a solution fit to fix and protect the concrete surfaces from further damage. Jeremy found that the soil underneath the homeowner's driveway and front walkway was poorly compacted, meaning that the soil was vulnerable to wash out and settlement. He suggested that we utilize our 3-part Concrete Protection System to fix, protect, and prevent further damage to the concrete surfaces, and the homeowner was very excited with this plan.
One of our installation teams came out to the home and started to utilize the 3-Part Concrete Protection System, including PolyLevel Foam to lift the concrete, NexusPro Sealant to seal the cracks and joints of the concrete, and SealantPro to protect the concrete from further damage.
